cartilage piercings?
hi i got a piercing that isnt in the lobe or in the rim its in the middle of my ear. and i got it in november of 2007 with a gun and i always took care of it and i never got it infected but i just recently went to the beach and it was irritated and i had my aunt take it out because i couldnt and it started bleeding. the next day there was a blood bubble on the back and i popped it. it has been about three days since i took it out and it wont go back in. the hole is swelled and is hard. i was wondering what i should do. let it go shut or is there something else i should do? http://i35.tinypic.com/2q07pn5.jpg if you click on that the circled piercing is what i have done, but that is not my ear.
Cartilage heals very fast. Your hole closed up. Just re-pierce it. You can do it yourself. All you got to do is numb the ear up with ice and force the piercing in. Or you can go get it done with a gun. Whatever. I pierced my ears myself. I used to have 5 on one side, 6 on the other.... however, for the piercings on the top of my ears I had done with a hollow needle so I could get a barbell put in..... That was a long time ago and I have since taken them all out for professional reasons.
For future reference, you can't take those piercings out. They will close in 24 hours. The higher up on your ear, the faster they close. So, you can choose to let it close, or you can pierce it again. It's gonna hurt.
