Painting Chimney?
We recently painted our living room walls a soft blue. However, the tiles of our chimney are a deep green and we'd like to paint them. What kind of paint would we use to do this or does anyone have another creative way to change the color ? I think I've seen on shows such as HGTV, etc that you can even glue stones or faux jewels on them....Your help would be greatly appreciated!
You could whitewash it, i see them do that on tv all the time. on hgtv the show with clive pearse, i can't remember the title, they are always fixing up chimineys because they are such an eyesore. they've used faux techniques. i think instructions are on the website. i've also seen styrofoam that looks like stone and you can apply it yourself. that'd be a whole different look.
