Why is my Miniature Fox Terrier losing hair?
I have a 3 year old Min. Fox Terrier that I adopted from a horribly neglectful home less than 6 months ago. She had almost no hair at adoption, due to severe flea infestation. Her hair was growing back extremely well, and now, it seems to be coming out. She seems healthy, as does her skin, but anywhere that rubs at all is nearly bald to bald. These areas include her chest, belly, insides of legs, neck (where her loose collar hangs), and lips where her tongue touches. Again, her hair looks completely healthy. What could be causing this?
Most dogs lose seasonal hair. But if it is to severe, take it to the veterinarian.
