1) constant
2) increases as it nears the sun
3) decreases as it nears the sun

It's Traveling around the sun in a orbit? I didn't know that, but it would increase it's speed if it was going around the sun because the Fg increases as it get's closer the the sun, and to make it go around it needs a greater V to get around.
