My mother died from an enlarged/weak heart cardiomyopathy?
She also had right ventricle weakness (i think) she also had 2 big strokes and a mini one her outlook was poor but she lived. Her consultant gave her 10 years to live that was 7 years ago. Anyway my mother told me to get tested as it might be heditary. If this is the case what are the symptoms? As i occassionally get pains in my chest and back (it lasts for a few secs its like sharp stabbing pains) i have not thought about this as we have had enough problems with my mum. I also have 4 young children i never find time to get to the doctors for myself. Anyway the key questions is wouldnt i have high blood pressure if i had some issues? I havent i have always had low blood pressure. What tests would they do if i were to go to the doctors and get tested? My mum died at 47 2 weeks ago with enlarged heart (post mortem) i am 29 my mums death has made me think about my mortality
