Switzerland is known as The Land of the Alps, and rightfully so. Bordered by France, Germany, Italy and Austria, Switzerland offers the most breathtaking views of the panoramic Alps. 1. The Chillon Castle - Located on the shore of Lake Geneva, the Chillon Castle is one of the most famous castles in Switzerland. Consisting of 100 buildings, it dates back to the 11th century and is the former residence of the Savoy nobility. It also has three courtyards and four great halls which offer magnificent views of the lake beyond.
2. Zermatt - Are you fond of skiing? If so, Zermatt should be on the top of your list of Switzerland tourist attractions. Other than providing great slopes for the sport, it also offers great views of the Swiss Alps, particularly the famous Matterhorn. You can go shopping and dining around the town, too.
3. Geneva Jet D'eau - This fountain in the heart of one of Switzerland's major cities is one of the tallest fountains in the world, projecting water up to 140 meters high. Built in 1891, it is also considered one of the symbols of the city of Geneva.
Other sights to see in Geneva include the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum, the Cathedral de St. Pierre, as well as several other museums and historical buildings. When taking a break from sightseeing, you might want to dine at one of its excellent restaurants.
4. Swiss National Park - The only national park in Switzerland, the Swiss National Park covers almost half the area of the entire country. It has several hiking trails, too - all of which offer various stunning views of the Alps, which is why it is one of the must-see Switzerland tourist attractions.
5. Swiss Transport Museum - Located in Lucerne, the Swiss Transport Museum is home to an exhibit of locomotives, ships, aircraft, automobile and other modes of transport and communication. It also houses an extensive collection of the works of Hans Erni, a Swiss painter and sculptor. You're sure to enjoy the Planetarium and the IMAX theatre, too.

We are planning a trip in may, 2012 and so far, we have not been able to find place that can accomodate that many people. If anyone can help, that would be great. Also Some places are running up to 200 dollars or more per night, thats high in our budget.

Luzern is one of the most beautiful cities of Switzerland, if not the most beautiful. The problem is that it's a little city, May is the high season, there are lots of events going on and of course, lots of tourists.
Hotel rates are high all over Switzerland, most of all nowadays because the Swiss Franc is almost as high as the Euro. I'm French, Swiss origins, from Luzern. The hotel where I used to stay, Des Balances, is just unaffordable today.
I found a couple of hotels in Luzern, affordable prices and a hostel but I'm not sure you'll find room for 25 people. Another option, maybe the most reasonable, would be to stay at a hotel in the outskirts of Luzern. Kriens is a little city, easy and fast access to Luzern by train or bus. There's an Ibis hotel, they may have room.
Consider also that prices are extremely high in Switzerland, going out for dinner won't cost less than 30€ per person. you can also buy food at the supermarkets, Coop or Migros.
Don't miss a cruise on the lake to Vitznau, landscapes are unique.
