Do people seriously think Vegetarians are weak?
I've been a vegetarian for 5 years. In Judo, I am one of the strongest girls in the class. I can pin some normal-weight guys to the ground. Yet whenever I say "I'm a Vegetarian" I get..."but they're all so weak.."

I agree with you 100%. I am a vegetarian and I have been a drummer in a very active metal band for the past 3 years. If anyone would be weak it would be someone like you and me.
A lot of people go off of the ASSUMPTION that you need meat in order to be strong, yet they seem to be ignorant of the very obvious fact that there are millions of vegetarians who have lived longer healthier lives than most meat eaters (good example: John Wayne). A lot of professional athletes have been interviewed about becoming vegetarian and they say that they notice a huge difference in their performance, stamina, etc. I remember one in particular who said that he felt like he was weighed down or something when he at meat.
Bottom line is, there are millions of vegetarians. It's not like we are this small group of a very few sickly people who are going to die at any moment because we are so malnuritied. People like Paul McCartney have been doing it for many, many years.
