I am in need of some idea's for costuming ASAP

You might want to start with a closer examination of the character. After all do you not dress in that way that you want other people to perceive you? Ask a few questions. Does this character want to be taken seriously or is the over dramatization for an effect? If she does want to be taken seriously does she perhaps dress in a skirt suit in an attempt to try to give that professional appearance?

I have designed many shows an designed in almost every aspect of live theater. I can tell you the key to truly designing well for any production is to truly get in touch with the script and characters from the perspective you are designing from.
If I was designing a set of someones house I would start by looking at that character closely in order to get an idea of who they are, what is important to them, and what they would want to surround themselves with in there own space.

Also I will tell you that in theater less is usually more, what I mean by this in this particular case is that if the character is that big naturally you might want to consider making the costume something that is not extreme, garish, or gaudy . After all it will add to the overall comic value of the character to constantly have the contrast between the clothing and the behavior.
