Fixing a stretched necklace chain?
The chain I have for my necklace is white gold and the chain seems to have been stretched out because the necklace is a lot longer than it was when I first got it. Is there any way I can fix it to make it shorter again?
White gold, well gold in general, is a softer metal and if your pendant on the chain is very heavy it might by causing the delicate pieces of gold in the chain to stretch... if you can visibly see some stretching I would take it to a jeweler and see if they think they can do somthing... most likely not though... if it looks good still, then who cares?
